In meiner Bachelorarbeit habe ich mich mit Identität beschäftigt.
Ein Thema das gesellschaftlich wie politisch zur Zeit eine starke Präsenz hat, aber auch für das Individuum von zentraler Bedeutung ist.
Dabei interessiert mich vor allem die Differenz zwischen Selbst- und Fremdwahrnehmung der performativen Identität, sowie dem damit verbundenen Konflikt zwischen Identität (Ego) und externer Identitätszuschreibung (Alter).
Die Arbeit wurde bewusst so angelegt, dass Instagram als mögliche Präsentationsfläche genutzt werden konnte. Die Motivwahl wurde lose durch verschiedenste Referenzen der Kunst und populär Kultur inspiriert. Zwei Bereiche in denen das Thema Identität immer wieder aufkommt.
Ästhetisch wurden die Bilder unter anderem durch die Isolierung während der Covid19 Pandemie beeinflusst.
The topic of my bachelor's thesis was identity, which is currently one of the more dominant subjetcs in society and politics. It is also of central interest for the individual.
Most relevant for me were the differences between the sense of self and the awarness of others regarding the performative identity, as well as the related conflict between identity (ego) and external identity attribution (alter).
The work was created with Instagram as a possible means of presentation in mind. Motive choices were losely based on a variety of references from the arts and popular cultur.
Both thematic areas tend to deal regularly with the topic of identity.
One of the aesthetic influenze for the picturs were the isolation during the covid19 pendamic.

Ein Kommentar zu den sozialen Medien.
Das Aktfoto geht von der Bildvorlage „Break the Internet Kim Kardashian“ aus (Covershooting Paper Magazin 2014) und stellt es in einen verfremdeten Kontext. Statt eines Studios dient eine Clubtoilette als Location.
Ergänzt wird die Arbeit durch eine Dorodangokugel, die aus meinem eigenen Kot gefertigt wurde.
Der schöne Schein, der in den sozialen Medien propagiert wird, ist letztlich auch nur polierte Scheiße.
A comment to social media.
The Motive of this nude photografie originats from the picture series „Break the Internet Kim Kardashian“ (Covershooting Paper Magazin 2014).
Here it's meaning gets diverted through a new context. Instead of a clean studio a clubtoilett is the location of the shooting. Lastly the work is complemented by a dorodango ball made out of my own excrement.
Even if it appears like it in social media, not all that glitters is gold sometimes it's just a polished turd.

Die Serie Chroma ist das momentane Ergebnis des Versuchs die Farbe von der Notwendigkeit eines Malgrunds zu lösen.
Mit transparenten Materialien ergab sich dabei eine Umkehr der Malreihenfolge.
The series Chroma is the result of an attempt to free color from the necessity of a canvas.
Transparent materials caused a reversion in the application of paint.

A space-filling installaion.
Like the individuell organisms of a siphonophore, the different departments of the ministry work together. Without each other, they would not be able to function.
